This shot is very visually interesting. The diagonal composition naturally draws the eye and makes it more interesting. I probably wouldn't have done it that way, but it certainly adds a different dimension to the shot. The thing I find most interesting about this is the juxtaposition of the archaic, gothic-looking architecture of the cathedral with the ultra-modern look of the skyscraper. That, to me, is the most interesting thing about the photo - even more interesting than the cathedral itself, I daresay.

I love this in black and white, but I have to say that I'm not crazy about the pure white sky. That's not so bad in and of itself, but the white sky seems to almost completely swallow one of the spires of the cathedral - that effect would work in some photos, but considering this one's level of detail, I don't think it's best in this case. I think you needed to bring down the exposure and contrast just a little. Pure white is a little too much - it takes too much focus off of the subject.

Oh my gosh!! I love churches like this. This photo shows just how beautiful they really are.

The image is wonderfully clear and sharp and has a lovely contrast. Is it a vertical panorama?

The angle is quite fresh but I think its a bit too harsh. If you were to straighten it a little bit it would be easier to view. And also if you were more towards the front, I think the building would become less noticable, because it takes away from the height of the church. The reflection in the building is a bit distracting.
